WHAT TO DO NEXT

1. Select a small process with which you are familiar. Make two lists —one
of issues involving the process and the other involving some of the
transactions.
2. Now assume that you could apply any technology to improve the process
without regard for cost. Develop a work ow of how transactions in new
process would work. Compare these with the corresponding transactions
in the current process.
3. Based on the work in the first two exercises, define requirements for the
new process and system. Write down the changes that must occur to move
from the current process to the new process for the transactions you
specified.
